SFU Pipe Band Concerts 2009
The concert is called "Affirmation," and the band is performing in Vernon, BC and Glasgow, Scotland.

The SFU Pipe Band
will be giving a pre-Worlds concert at the Royal Glasgow
Concert Hall in Scotland. The band's concert will include
music with the band Wolfstone.

Patrick
places third overall in the BC Piper's Association Grand Aggregate
for grade one.
7/12/08 Kamloops Highland Games
Patrick
wins the MSR contest at the Kamloops Highland Games.
6/28/08 BC Highland Games
Patrick
wins the Hornpipe and Jig contest at the BC Highland Games. SFU beats
Dowco Triumph Street in both the MSR and Medley events.
6/21/08 United States Piping Foundation
Patrick
wins the MSR contest at the USPF in Newark, Delaware. He places
third overall and is his first year attending.
6/14/08 Sons of Scotland highland Games
Patrick
wins the 2/4 march contest at the Sons of Scotland Highland
Games in Delta, BC.
6/7/08 Bellingham Highland Games
Patrick
wins the Hornpipe and Jig Contest at The Bellingham Highland Games in
Ferndale, WA. SFU beats Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band in both the
MSR and Medley contests.
5/17/08 Comox Highland Games
Patrick
wins the Piobaireachd contest at the Comox Highland Games on
Vancouver Island.
5/9/08 Northwest Junior Pipe Band Fundraiser Night
Patrick, along with NWJPB alumni, Piper's Creek, and The Karen Shelton Highland Dancers performed for a large crowd of supporters. The night helped push NWJPB over the top of their fundraising goal of $32,000.

Patrick wins the March,
Strathspey, Reel contest at the Washington Piper's Association's May
